After having recently watched “Once Upon a Time in the West” and “Tombstone” I’ve been on a desert kick. Since Paula is from Phoenix the topic came up today when talking about heading West for the Holidays.

I was talking about the color tones of the deserts in the two films, and Paula responded by making the claim that because the geology is different from desert to desert she can name the locations of deserts in any photographs she sees. I’m putting her to the test.

The above image is a gimme as Bryce is largely recognizable. Still, it was a notable image I came across while constructing my test for her. And as most images on this site live next to music here’s Pantha du Prince’s “Asha”:
