North on the FDR
The bent vertical columns are something I see when shooting with a moving digital camera. What I think is happening is the sensor is capturing the frame from left to right, top to bottom. Therefore when the next row of pixels are caught, the above rows are already shifting to the right.

This collection reminded me of the Fred Rogers entry on Daily Routines. I’d come across the Daily Routines post months ago, but still find the article, as taken from Esquire magazine, to be really quite endearing.Again, Merry Christmas!

In the midst of all the end of the year and end of the decade roundups, I missed the collection of the decade’s top movie posters as assembled by The Auteurs.
I’m not a huge fan of the collection, but I thought that in addition to the Funny Games poster, the poster above for The Girlfriend [...]They’ve Gone to Plaid!
