Mopar
This 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner is very similar to the ’69 Dodge Coronet my Dad has and that I drove for years in California. The only real difference between the two are the grill and tail lights.
The Coronet had a fairly beat up paint job, but that didn’t stop people from complementing me or asking if it were for sale on an almost daily basis. I’ve got fond memories of terrorizing the neighborhoods around us in it and racing people on the freeways headed to the Bay Area.
The difficult thing about driving it was the 9-11 mpg it got. I’d end up putting about $100 of gas into it every week, which these days is basically unthinkable.

I always thought the hardest thing about driving it was the lack of power steering! I needed whoever was in the passenger seat to help pull the wheel if we made any quick 90 degree turns.

Yes that was tough. Another tough thing was me loosing breaks one day. Luckily I wasn’t far from the house, but had to lock up the breaks using the e-brake every time I came to a stop sign / signal. Ah the adventures of driving Dad’s cars. ;)
