Somehow I remembered that today Justin and Eamon were releasing the lineup for this summer’s series of Sunday Best parties. This afternoon, I checked and saw that it was up. I then looked through Twitter conversations, and didn’t see any mentions. Great! So I posted a tweet about it. The link got a moderate amount of traffic, then the tweet started getting retweeted which brought on a lot more views. It’s gotten about 80 hits in two hours. Not bad, I think.

Where I think I may have erred is that I could have re-posted the info on SoundNoir.net, then linked to it, thus driving a lot of traffic to our site. This certainly could have been an option, but after some consideration I realized that I think other people doing the same thing are kinda riding on others’ coattails.

So in the end, I’m OK with how I handled sharing this info. More people have been turned onto our Twitter account through the retweets, so we’ve gained a few more followers. The only thing that disturbs me is that I said “evening” singular. I’m consistently bad at spelling on Twitter.
